Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a form of medicine mostly concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. The main chiropractic treatment technique involves manual therapy, especially spinal manipulation therapy (SMT), manipulations of other joints and soft tissues.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of treatment that involves inserting very thin needles through a person's skin at specific points on the body, to various depths. Research suggests that it can help relieve pain, and it is used for a wide range of other complaints.

Massage Therapy

Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. We would be honored to take that journey with you.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy treatments focus on treatments that reduce the need for surgery and prescriptive drugs. We utilize a combination of exercise, stretches, hands-on techniques, and equipment to restore function or relieve pain.

Dr. Suzanne always had a deep love for volleyball. When she sprained her ankle during a high school match the school trainer told her she would be out for 6 weeks. Her dad took her to a chiropractor. Doubting what a chiropractor could do for her ankle, she was surprised to discover not only treatment for her ankle but a fix for her recurring headaches, which she had accepted as normal. She found herself back on the court two weeks earlier than the trainer expected. Chiropractic care gave her back the things she loved the most and created a lifelong interest in chiropractic care.

Dr. Suzanne attended Benedictine College, where she received a B.A. in Science while playing volleyball for the Ravens. She took part in various research studies, sharpened her skills, and prepared for a career in the healthcare field. Her academic research has made her an expert in the principles of the scientific method. During her time at Cleveland Chiropractic in Overland Park, Kansas, she enjoyed working with pediatric patients and learning acupuncture. To develop skills for working with all kinds of childhood ailments, she completed coursework with the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association. She passionately believes that children should be regularly checked by a pediatric chiropractor, so that their bodies have a chance to grow and develop without interference from the environment, chemical exposure, and physical injuries, all of which can affect their health and growth.
